It was such an unproductive weekend for me!
While most Filipinos were enjoying the 4-day weekend, yours truly had been pretty lazy and had been procrastinating a lot- when it comes to my online chores that is. Doing three kinds of job in a day had obviously taken its toll on me.
Though it’s a holiday here, I still had to report for my regular day time job. Sadly, we don’t respect any holidays by virtue of a resolution issued by the Commission for the conduct of the continuing registration in preparation for the mid-term elections in 2013.
I was most of the time lying down in bed when I am at home. I don’t feel like working around the pad at all. It feels odd that everything’s a mess when I always want everything to be in perfect order. It feels also unlikely not to be facing the PC or my lappy. That’s not so me! I get easily tired of late. I was telling my friends it must be the clear sign of aging, hahaha!
Yesterday however, I managed to squeeze in my time to have my nails done at the salon.
My third time to have a foot spa in the salon 
I’ve previously mentioned at A Sojourner’s Saga how I want my birthday celebrated this year. To quote:
I am thinking of just spending my birthday by my lonesome or simply by pampering myself by going to a salon, get my hair and nails done, get a good body spa, and facial. Hmmm. I think that’s a good idea. LOL!
But I simply was feeling itchy for that self-pampering session. I can’t wait for my birthday to finally have it, LOL!
After work, I was able to purchase the basic essentials especially the hoarding of my most favorite cereals and milk. I was delighted to see them at the groceries again because last week, it was out of stock. I experimented on a different brand but I just don’t like it.

This is a product made from Australia and exported to Africa and other countries. The big clusters of almonds are a delight but don't like it much.
I was also able to purchase one ladies jeans. I don’t often buy denims because it’s a little expensive. But when I buy I want it to be worth every penny. I actually hesitated at first because I wanted the item purchased on a marked down price. The salesman however doesn’t know when is the exact date of the sale. He told me he’s not too sure if the item I am eyeing for will be put on sale since it arrived only recently. Worse, there’s only one size left that fits me well. I had no choice but to purchase the item with a heavy heart but mind you, I so loved how it perfectly fit my unsightly body, LOL!
The price better be worth it!
I had to put this picture in, LOL! I got silly and started taking a capture of myself in the fitting room only wearing my top and undies, LOL!
As further proof of my laziness, I had my laundry done by the laundry shop. Last week, I hired someone to do it for me. She offered to do it on a regular basis but I don’t like her style. I mean, the way she does the washing and all that is kind of yucky, ekkkkkk! I am a little meticulous when it comes to washing my clothes. Apart from that, I had to cook her meals while she’s doing the laundry. I feel I can’t maximize my time at home every weekends if I do that all the time. So from now on, the laundry shop will have to do its work for me every weekends. That will save me H2O, soap and fabric conditioner
The month is about to end. I must say I am happy I survived being alone in the apartment for more than a month now. But sadly, my mother hasn’t taken the time as of yet to visit her prodigal daughter in her lovely haven, LOL! My brothers have frequently hang around here, but not my Pretty Mama. As to her reasons, that deserves a separate post
Another reason for me to be glad is that I was able to update all my 5 blogs READ: non-paid posts. Hurray to that! What a time to defy laziness and procrastination

Yes, you said it, Mel. I just felt I had the need to purchase one because all others already gave up on me. I simply had no choice, LOL!
I try to be as productive as I can but as we all know, if you’re just a mere employee in the Philippines, no matter how much you work your ass off, there’s no progress. I have been a witness to that here in government service. Anyways, I am just thankful I have a job

Actually, I only thought of that in random. I don’t plan of anything grand for my birthday this year, unlike the previous years. Maghahanap nalang ako ng sponsor for the premium pampering session.
