Bicycles Is The Answer To Peace Efforts
By: · Viewed: · Time Posted:

Believe it or not, the pursuit of Peace has returned to basics.
As reported, “Bishop leads bikathon for peace in Mindanao“, Cotabato Auxiliary Bishop Jose Collin Bagaforo led some 200 cyclists in a 118-kilometer bikathon from Cotabato City…..
Which reminds me of the children’s song and it goes like this…
Noynoy sings to the MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front)
M-I-L-F, give me your answer true
I’m half crazy over the love of you
It won’t be a stylish marriage
I can’t afford a carriage
But you’ll look sweet
Upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two
MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) sings to Noynoy
Noynoy, Noynoy give me your answer true
I love riding, do you love it too
Slow or fast or faster
You lead, I’ll follow after
The path flies by as you and I
Ride a bicycle built for two
And why not? A picture paints a thousand words. Why wouldn’t a bikathon augment the recent peace agreement signed between the Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front?
Take for example, if half of the bikers were like this, why wouldn’t it make Peace permanent? Even Peace for the rest of the World. Such like bikathons should be promoted and led by national leaders in war strickened Syria and held jointly between China and the Philippines over their South China Sea claims.
And all it takes to dispel anti-Peace politiking, is to include one biker such as this in the bikathon.
But sadly, it is obvious that no matter what bikathon is organized for Palestine and Israel, it will never get any better than this kind of bicycles being used by both parties in their bikathon.

If only peace is as easy to attain as this, we would probably all be better off.

Definitely agrees with your first observation. A Bikathon for peace with gorgeous ladies leading the pack will definitely lure many participants. But I doubt if it would lead to a positive result.

Why not as long as participants are heading to one direction. It is nice to see Christians and Muslims together for one cause.

i dont think muslims and christians would ever live in peace and harmony. the troubles started way way way back. and i think it was tough in the muslims society to eradicate all the unbelievers, i believed its in their holy book. so for me, its a waste of time.
