If I expected everyone to agree with everything I say, I would clone myself and never leave the house! LOL! I have no problem with disagreements considering it is another viewpoint that adds to the topic being discussed. You and I have disagreed especially about the BED issue, but that's for another time! LOL! On the other side of the coin, some are too close-minded to where they can't handle a disagreement. It's either because of being over-sensitive or being egotistical as you pointed out. I'm an advocate on freedom of speech, but there are some things you can't say or do or there wouldn't be on-line laws that exist. Simply put, it is not what you say. It is how you say it. Perhaps I am just too backstage with all these. LOL As for blogoeccentricity, I have not experienced that yet.
