Imagine reading your own words staring you in the face at another person’s blog. Imagine the time and the effort you had to put in just to come up with a sensible if not a relevant content.
I have first read about this at Leomar’s Den. I feel sad seeing my fellow bloggers in this situation.
I’d like to think that the adage “ Imitation is the highest form of flattery” can be applied here. It’s because Juliana of Juliana’s Lair, one of the victims of this one particular plagiarist is a great writer. She’s one of the few bloggers I’ve come across with when I was just starting out and I truly admire her distinct coherence at expressing herself. I even nominated her blog for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2008.
But plagiarism is no flattery! It is a C R I M E…
Let us agree on one thing here by taking on the definition of a plagiarist:

I got the shock of my life when I learned that the plagiarist is someone I silently admired for her writing “skills”. I am a frequent visitor at her blog and a Top Dropper at that! It was such a big disappointment! And it made me really sick!
With this post, I’d like to help my fellow bloggers in stirring heightened awareness on plagiarism and to denounce similar acts. Please support our cause by helping us spread the word.

What is Plagiarism?
According to Dictionary, Plagiarism is the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one’s own original work.
To all Bloggers who exert effort to create noteworthy entries and who continue to maintain a Blog which is a reflection of who she / he is, ”Good job! ”
To those who have the desire to Blog but are merely scraping contents from other people‘s materials, ”Whether you are monetizing your site to help you with your basic needs or to satisfy some of your wants,do it the proper way.Stop making money out of someone else’s work.Otherwise,you are nothing but a common thief! ”

Nakakainis nga that I shared the story to tammy. Tapos, nakalink pa sa akin. Yikes. I just wonder how the plagiarists can sleep knowing that they have just cheated their way to get their earnings.

Lainy, this is why I have my writing copyrighted. On Tammy’s blog, I stated that this happened to me twice, and one of them tried to cash in my work for his benefit on another site! When I post it later, I’ll talk more about it.
Anyway, I understand why this would bother you after knowing the person who did this. I would strongly suggest anyone to get their work copyrighted because I’ve learned that many plagiarists will do it will go on a spree of copying several bloggers. Well, let’s just call them serial plagiarists.

I’m sorry to hear that happened to Juliana. I know also of another blogger who experienced the same thing. Her post about plagiarism was the one that was stolen from her. In this case it was a blogger from Ukraine I think.

I’ve read about this sa blog ni friend ko..as in I was shocked when she emailed me who the culprit is. Like you sis, I didn’t expect that she could do such thing. She’s one of my so-called blogging buddies pa naman and I admire her writing skills. 
Hmmm..mahirap talaga ano? Ako kahit na mali-mali ang grammar and english..kahit nosebleed na..go pa rin! basta they’re my own words. Yon ang importante di ba?

everyone is shocked! and, if I may say so, the article she copied from my blog is pasted on her blogspot blog. leomar’s article is on her domain blog(captured screenshot).
thanks a lot for helping me spread the word and make the blogging community be more aware that we can all be possible victims of this crime or should I re-phrase my statement? “the same blogger.” you know of two, it can be a lot more, who knows?

if she also uses entrecard you can tell the moderators there, or file a help ticket in the support system and tell them what’s going on. they don’t like plagiarism there either and her blog might get banned, if you’re lucky.

Hmmm, mukhang friends ata sila ni Tammy, diko lang sure. I think I saw her at Tammy’s comment forms before pero yong isang friend ni Tammy friend nya rin, yan ang sure ako, hehe…
Good thing wala kaming connection whatsoever, hahahaha! Oh well, except for her being a notorious dropper and I am returning the favor… That’s all there is to it. It’s such a shame talaga. Nagagandahan pa naman ako sa kanya… I am not sure if she is aware that she has been exposed.

After knowing who the plagiarist was, I really got so shocked. I wasn’t expecting that a criminal is hidden behind the sweet and a very lovely face. That sure sucks!

we’ve become acquaintances sis because i used to comment on her posts that hit me home and she does to me. but after i learned about her copying from juliana’s post, gosh, i got so sick of her jud. i got goose-bumps, seriously, because it was so unbelievable of her. she’s the sweet and tender face in the blogging world pero wala sa mukha yan eh. she is a criminal for doing so and i denounce her act. too pitiful of her. hapit na jud naku sya maingni upfront ba pero gina-stop ko ni hubby kay kawawa daw. let others do it nalang daw. hahayyyyy.
