Let me be straight.
This is not the cute and smart Lainy always keeping you busy on this blog. She has been working all day long and is very tired. Probably snoring in bed right now (hehe hehe).You are now in the company of the Naughty Uncle Che from AZ Blogging.
In case this is your first time here, or you never heard of the Lainy’s Birthday Bash Contest, please read this post. It contains all information about the contest, including Mechanics, Prizes, and a list of all Officially Accepted entries. Though some entries really weren’t qualified, Lainy was a little soft on the rules (acted like a mum :D) and considered everyone who made a “reasonable attempt”.
Lainy has handed part of the job to me. I am proceeding as promised, randomizing on random.org‘s list randomizer to get the FOUR LUCKY WINNERS for this contest. The randomization is going to be something a little bit different from what you expect.
One good news. The consolidatory prize for all unlucky participants has been doubled. After the 4 lucky winners have been selected, the remaining 25 would each receive 200 credits instead of 100 as initially indicated.
Did I mention that Lainy has kept aside some special gifts for some very special people who really merit them?
I am so much overwhelmed by your response in the contest that me and my friends, Ivy and Uncle Che have conceptualized. Honestly, I was a little apprehensive at first. I haven’t really thought that someone would want to sponsor in a small contest such as this.

My birthday month is fast approaching. And because my birthday will be very special to me, I have been thinking of what could be the most fun and exciting thing to do so that you can join in and celebrate with me on my big day. In order for you to qualify for the contest, you have to meet the following requirements:
Write a post in your own blog and in your OWN words about this contest using at least 100 unique words. Include in your post the Contest Banner, links to My Blogs, and the Sponsors’ Links. For your own convenience, please use the corresponding embed codes.
To add to the excitement, though OPTIONAL, the participants are encouraged to make mementos or keepsakes for me either in the form of the following:
Graphic arts like cards, cakes and anything of that sort which shall showcase the participant’s unique artistic ability.
Literary art in the form of poetry, song, or any article that will mostly talk about this blog.

I have came up with my own list of blogs which I will be rooting as the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2008. The contest has long been running for months until July 26, 2008. You can win as much as $ 100 if you get lucky in winning the contest or just merely get links of love from your fellow bloggers. I have a number of great blogs in mind but I need to only choose ten from among them. I had a hard time in the selection process but through the help of some bloggers, I was able to come up with my final list. The blogs which are inluded in my Top 10 list have met the following criteria, to wit:
Blogs that are in existence anytime from July 1, 2007 up to the present;
Blogs that stirred interest and significant impact among its readers in 2008;
Blogs that generated considerable number of regular readers. Meaning, the blog has wide readership and influence over the blogosphere; and,
The owner of the blog must not be a ghost or anonymous.
Any blog in the world could be picked so long as they meet the above-mentioned criteria. The 10 blogs I picked have, in one way or another, influenced and motivated me to blog for quality and not for traffics, ranks and other stats relative to the same. These are the following:
