Awards from blogger friends really makes my day. It makes blogging sweeter and sweeter. Not only am I being rewarded for the time and effort being spent online but my relationship with fellow bloggers are being nourished with a simple gesture of remembering me by becoming the recipient of such beautiful awards.
I am forever grateful to the awards thrown my way by the following fabulous bloggers:
Joy was quoted as saying to the award’s recipients, which included me:
“THE BLOGGERS AND LOYAL FRIENDS I HAVE. FLAUNTING BLOG THEIR HEADERS. I’M SURE THEY’RE FAMILIAR. I LIKE THEIR BLOGS. THEY VISIT AND COMMENT MY POSTS. THEY’RE MY FRIENDS. THEY’RE BRILLIANT, CREATIVE, UNIQUE AND FULL OF INSIGHTS.

Ally of In the Eyes of the Beholder- inspires me, makes me smile and laugh, great read and because she is my pretty cousin, hehehe!

Twerlyn of Twerlermz Blog- inspires me, makes me smile and laugh, great read and because she is the only longest running friend I have here in the blogosphere.
The first blogger who expressed that my blog, Our Journey to Forever, is her favorite is Pauline of Life is Like a Wheel. Thanks Dear! Polly again of Random Ramblings also made me one of her favorites! Isn’t that amazing? Thanks so much my dear friend! Polly is one of the few great friends I have from EntreCard. She is a masterdropper and no one can ever beat her from the No. 1 spot at the Mixed Bag category. I have always appreciated her gesture of always keeping in touch with me and for all the help she has been giving me, sharing so much information that she could get and she also went to the trouble of scanning some magazine clippings for me to be able to use for my fashion blog.
The Lemonade Award from four of my favorite bloggers, Elaine of Random Chronicles, Windmill of Windmill on the Hill, Liza of A Simple Life and Lola of Lola’s Diner lit my face up one more time. Elaine is one of the first few blogger friends I have when I was just a novice in the cyberworld. I am not saying I am noi longer a novice because there’s still a helluva lot of things to learn about blogging. She is a very friendly gal and so articulate. I’m one of those lucky few who was able to share the gift of friendship with her. Windmill on the other hand is a fave blogger whose entries are so full of life and humor. He always plaster a smile on my face. He calls me LAINY BELLE, isn’t it cute? When he gave up his other blog before, I was prompted to write THIS. You can just imagine how happy I was when he decided to revive that blog but gave it up again for the second tim
e, sigh! Good thing he has this one blog now which he constantly updates and with a CANDY BAR for me too, hehehe!
If you haven’t gone by their blogs, it wouldn’t hurt to try and see what I mean

I especially selected the following special people to be the recipient of such “prestigious” award, in no particular order:
Joy also awarded me too many beautiful blings and I only got the time to post them now. I sincerely apologize for I overlooked the bookmarking of the exact post. I hope it’s never too late to post them now:
“I remember when… I had my first boyfriend”. Did you hold hands? Go on ‘dates’? Or just hang around together with the crowd? Whatever your memories are related to your first boyfriend, share them!
I have previously made an entry out of this topic a couple of months back. I have entirely forgotten the feelings I’ve had for him but for old times sake, I will try to recollect the moments with my first boyfriend.
Being the idealistic person that I was back then, I wanted my first boyfriend to be the last, if you know what I mean. I had him for a BF when I was 21 years old, he was my very first boyfriend! We have been boyfriends and girlfriends for quite sometime before my family knew about it. We kept it to ourselves until such time I was ready to disclose what we have. He converted into our church and I am so glad that up to now, he is still very active at church eventhough we separated ways years before.
I tried to hold on to the relationship which lasted for almost 3 years. He lavished me with so much love, not to mention the sumptuous foods that he prepares for me and my family. But since I am a beautiful girlfriend (haha!), he would always get jealous over petty and trivial things. He would always start the fight and he even deprived me from communicating with friends when he got my cellphone for 3 days!
I appreciate tags especially if it’s divulging a little about yourself to the public. It makes your readers know a part of you by sharing a little of yourself. I think I have already done tags of this nature many times in the past but it wouldn’t hurt if I do it again. I am not too sure though if I will be able to come up with the same answers.
Three friends tagged me with this type of tag and I thank them for including me in the list.
Recel of Rare Ordinary Thoughts
Liza of Mommy’s Little Corner
Pretty Cousin Ally ofIn the Eyes of the Beholder
Ally tagged me with 8 Random Facts while Liza and Recel were asking only for 7. I will have to settle for the 8 ;-).
Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
Share 8 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
Tag 8 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Eight facts about me…
I have asthma and I just had my worst asthma attack this year. I attributed it from too much blogging.
I am deprived of sleep. Getting only fours hours of sleep everyday is way too much for me to handle. I’ve always felt groggy at work and I don’t think I will be able to cope for long.
Because of sleep deprivation, my Prince is telling me to give up work and better stay home and blog. I am contemplating on it. It has its pros and cons and I am still trying to weigh everything. I only know one certain thing though: my HEALTH is my first priority.
How to lose weight has been a real struggle for me last year after the national elections in May. I got desperate I took a chinese pill. I ceased from taking it after my Prince warned me of possible effects later on. Good thing when I stopped, the pill already has its effects and I’ve indeed trimmed down a little
I am myopic. I have started using eyeglasses when I was in fourth year high school. I am not too comfortable with glasses but I prefer using it when I’m infront of my PC because my vision gets more accurate than contact lenses.
I was typically shut off from what’s happening around the world lately. I haven’t watched much TV, not even news, sigh! I couldn’t find the time coz I prefer to spend my spare time doing oops and some other blogging chores.
I always have a hard time understanding Mummy Carol’s accent (my Mahal’s Mum). She speaks way too fast for my understanding, But I am slowly getting used to it. Speaking to her more frequently helps. Maybe we should stay on the phone for half an hour or so for me to really get used to her accent
I’ve just celebrated my 29th birthday. I am getting old but I feel like it’s only yesterday when I turned 18, hahaha!
That’s all there is to share for now. Now I would like the following people to share a little of themselves:
I apologize to all my friends who made the effort of including me in their list of recipients for lovely awards and taggies. I appreciate them all and I appreciate you all the more for thinking of me.
I LOVE YOUR BLOG AWARD
Believe it or not, but they actually heart my blog! I feel elated, honored, humbled because not one, not two, not three, not four but FIVE blogger friends awarded me this beautiful award. Big thanks goes to Uncle Che, Polly, Wendy, Lora and my cousin Allena for this lovely award. I will treasure this award forever!
Now I am passing it over to 7 blogs that I love and sticking to the following rules to make the process smooth sailing.
The winner can put the logo on his/her blog
Link the person you received your award from
Nominate at least 7 other blogs;4. Put links of those blogs on yours; and
Leave a message on the blogs that you’ve nominated.
Now, who are those deserving 7? They are as follows:
I would like to thank Arlene for this beautiful friendship award.
I love the blogs of these people and I’m glad to pass this award onto them! All they need to do is to leave the following message on their post when they pass the award on to their chosen eight bloggers.
They all are charmed with the blogs, where in the majority of its aims are to show the marvels and to do friendship; there are persons who are not interested when we give them a prize and then they help to cut these bows; do we want that they are cut or that they propagate? Then let’s try to give more attention to them! So with this prize we must deliver it to 8 bloggers that in turn must make the same thing and put this text.
We need friends for many reasons, all throughout the season.
We need Friends to comfort us when we are sad,
and to have fun with us when we are glad.
We need Friends to give us good advice,
We need someone we can count on,and treat us nice.
We need Friends to remember us one we have passed sharing memories that will always last.
I am wholeheartedly inspired by one blogger today. I got totally overwhelmed and speechless when Uncle Che of AZ Blogging gave me an award. What makes this Blogging Friends Forever (BFF) Award triple extra special is that it came all the way from Cameroon, West Africa. I find Che a very nice person and a very special man. I have always followed his blog the first time I came across over it. I can always feel his genuine sincerity behind the words. My experience meeting new friends over the blogosphere have truly humbled me. Fostering strong mutual bonds and camaraderie was made possible through hopping, reading, commenting and dropping. Undoubtedly, bridging distance and cultural gaps between and among us over the blogosphere were made possible. Thank you Che! I do hope I really merit this award.
Now here’s the hard part. I have to choose only 5 from among of the many bloggers I know. A number of certain rules must be applied, to wit:
Only 5 people are allowed to receive this award
4 of them followers of your blog.
One has to be new to your blog and live in another part of the world.
You must link back to who ever gave you the award.
I’ve made my list through random selection. No playing favorites here. They are the following:
Please, the above 5 people are encouraged to pass this award to 5 blogging friends too, following the 4 rules listed above.I will be very happy if we show some support to the recipients of this award by any of the following means: linking, commenting, subscribing, rating, or in any form as you wish.

Now I would like to know from Cheerful, Gles, Ate Bing, & Mummy Sheng how much of the Philippines have you visited? Find out at Lakbayan!
Supernova and Cheerful tagged me with this one. Thanks so much, girls!
The rose has always been valued for its beauty and has a long history of symbolism. The ancient Greeks and Romans identified the rose with their goddesses of love referred to as Aphrodite and Venus.
