And guess what? Windy even welcomed a few of my friends’ blogs in his webhost. I remember Windy worked long hours for Twerlyn and Ivy’s blogs. The migration from Blogger to WordPress was no easy task. But Windy did it all for my friends who certainly needed his expertise.

I remember the time when I encountered the worst setback in my blogging journey. I really thought it was the end for this blog when it got hacked. I can never imagine the hundreds of articles and thousands of comments lost in the wink of an eye.

Good thing my techy friends came to the rescue and revived Lainy’s Musings. I can never thank enough Uncle Che and Windy who sat all wide awake till the wee hours of the morning just to retrieve everything. I was more than grateful when Lainy’s Musings went live once more.

I feel so lucky to have these friends who offer their helping hands even before I open my mouth to ask for it.

I am very grateful that after the hacking incident, Windy offered a web hosting for my blogs all for FREE! Isn’t that wonderful? I feel really special! Why not? Windy never do it for anyone. I feel really happy that my blogs are now working under Blue Host. I have no complaints. I have never felt secured and protected in my blogging life in the past than I am now.

I have always been so blessed to have great friends who treat you no stranger but more than like a sister. Indeed, how lucky one can get!

I have a few cousins who all had their medical professions. One is a physician, two are nurses and the other was a radiologist. All these are siblings.

My cousin is now a practicing doctor. I was told that he has all the intentions to undergo a consultant interview course. This is a rather prestigious course which is being run by Oxford Medical in Oxford and London. I am sure my cousin can hurdle it being a very intellectual person. And mind you! He is also a certified bachelor.

On the other hand, his younger sister who is a radiologist who once worked for a prestigious hospital in Manila opted to have a Medical Teaching Course. She loves teaching and she believes that this is the thing that she does best. She has a lot of other plans, too. She plans of taking up a medical management course and later pursue a teach the teacher course career.

I believe it is not impossible for my cousin to reach her “ambitious” dreams, LOL! She has proven herself to be very focused and dedicated in whatever she does. I am sure my cousins’ immediate family are very proud of them. Credit goes to their parents who are both engineers who were able to raise their kids admirably!

It is a common knowledge that the Philippines are no baseball fans. However, most Filipinos now have ventured into a lot more challenging kind of sports. Football, rugby and baseball are the sports that are now trending in the Philippine sports setting.

While browsing over the net, I have found one of the reasons why basketball is a more popular sport in the country than baseball. Would you believe that the weather condition is the major reason why?

If I may just quote:

Basketball is considered the number one spectators’ event in the country simply because it is usually held under a roof (at the Araneta Coliseum for example). Baseball and football could not gain popularity because Filipino spectators are not willing to seat under the scorching sun or heavy rains. It must be noted, however, that young Filipinos are beginning to switch to new games, such as billiards and computer games, because of the limited number of basketball courts in the country.

Quite a very interesting piece of information, is it not? I begin to imagine the Filipino crowd now that baseball recently gained popularity. The spectators actually did not mind being grilled under the scorching heat of the sun. It is because their main reason to watch is to cheer for their team and to be able to egg them on. Though I myself still have not had a complete grasp on how the game is being played, I wonder if baseball pitching machines can also be a trend here in the country.

With the onset of baseball popularity to many Filipinos young and adults alike, I understand that the production of quality batting cage equipment will also matter a great deal. I foresee a huge production of baseball items and thus will create job opportunities as well for unemployed Filipinos.

Everytime I see my brothers performing their heart out on stage, I sometimes mull over the idea of purchasing custom lapel pins for them. I may sound like a stage sister but I think that is how you’d feel too whenever you have siblings who performs like there’s no tomorrow and when they get their own share of fame in the local music scene.

I believe it is rare for a band to be performing with clear messages that they want to convey to their audience. By sporting the pins, I think the audience will get a full grasp of what Kuerdas is all about- their kind of music and their rare kind of talent.

Kuerdas Band have always been strong advocates of love and respect. It can be very evident in all their songs. That makes me real proud of them.

Music is something that they have always been passionate about. But the kind of message incorporated in each song performed is something different. It gives more depth and meaning to each and every person on stage especially on the songs that the Kuerdas vocals sings out to give entertainment to a huge portion of the crowd.

Kuerdas Band has been in existence for eight long years. Some members have come and gone. But still, the Band continues to hang on even when it faced a lot of issues concerning them as a group. It is not easy to hold a group of people together with various personalities. Sometimes they jive, most times they don’t. But because Kuerdas aims of propagating love and respect since day one, they have lived to immortalize love and respect not only in their songs but in real life as well being part and parcel of the band called KUERDAS.

Before I moved in here in my new haven, the owner had some men working on the repainting of the entire apartment. I was not able to come up the stairs and see the rooms because the painting that was applied was still wet. She did a lot of renovation to make it appealing to prospective leases. I didn’t know then that there was some problem on the sink then. I had to call her attention on the matter about three times when I moved in and finally, I reckon she asked help from http://www.thesteamteam.com/austin-restoration-services/smoke-fire.shtml, everything worked perfectly fine. My landlady vouched they are the experts in the field.

When I decided to have a carpet, I had to ask my Mom for rug cleaning tips. It helped me hugely. Had I not asked for some tips from her, I would have spent so much time on rug cleaning alone. Good thing she shared her cleaning tips with me and made life so much easier.

So this is the life when you live on your own. I find it rather liberating. No one was nagging before my ears, LOL! I find it very peaceful here. All I can hear was the chirping of the birds at day time and the unique, funny clicking sounds of the geckos at night time. When I actually first heard of the geckos’ making their chirps, I had goosebumps, hahaha! But I got used to it. They no longer are alien to me. I have learned to welcome their sounds in my ears, LOL!
