Now, that Lainy’s Musings 3rd Blogoversary celebration is over, this is what I have been waiting to hand to Dumb Looney, the “Brain In Your Bum” Award to Dumb Looney. He becomes the second deserving receiver of this prestigious Award.
Brain in your Bum Award
Dumb Looney published a scathing article about the loading time of Lainy’s Musings besides other crap, which asserts the shallowness of his intellect.
I sought the assistance from the independent and reputable Pingdom to monitor Lainy’s Musings and this is their findings.
Note that Pingdom’s measurement is reported in milliseconds. A millisecond is one thousandth of a second.
Pingdom, the popular 24/7 web site monitoring service, isn’t just about checking if a website is up or down. Uptime, and downtime web site monitoring is, of course, one of the aspects of the service but another one is checking, and reporting on, web site performance. Pingdom utilises monitoring systems globally to reliably identify downtime issues (rather than transient conditions) – Jason Slater
1. From April 20 till the time of writing this article.
2. It takes an average 6.456 milliseconds to access and load Lainy’s Musings from the Webhost’s server.
3. Pingdom was scheduled to perform this gauge at intervals of one minute apart. They conduct this from various locations, for example.
Apart from Pingdom, Lainy’s Musings displays a loading self-time widget (at the top of the sidebar pile). It operates from the root directory of the Webhost where Lainy’s Musings is hosted.
Again, going by this self-time widget, it displays 0.8255 second or 8.255 milliseconds. It corresponds closely to Pingdom’s results.
Over and above all that has been said above, let me add that Lainy’s Musings is NOT hosted from a shared IP Address at the external Webhost. It operates from a dedicated proprietary IP Address.

I remember coming across the blog post you mentioned and couldn’t believe that someone would call out someone as sweet as Lainey. I’ve visited her blogs (this one in particular)and have never noticed a problem with the loading time issue. When I read the post I came here immediately to see if a response had been written by you Windy. I would suggest one thing – start this post by writing a line saying that this is NOT being written by Lainey but by a very good friend and mentor. She’s lucky to have you on her side.

This award is just right for a dumb person as that ‘dumb looney’, whoever he is. I didn’t experience load time problem in almost two years of visiting this site of Lainy. That dumb critter must have nothing interesting to do with his life. You ‘re a one good friend Windy!

I’ve seen read some of Dumb Looney’s crap before. As I’ve described him here, he’s a parasite who is obnoxious with female bloggers.
A parasite Blogger who thrives on anything that he considers not to his liking at Blogs and at Comments.
I have deliberately not mentioned his pen name (real name?) because that is what he craves for – attention and instead “christened” him with a more appropriate name, “Dumb Looney”. Hahaha.

Wow, and Dumb Looney reaches another low by calling out Lainy on a blog. You know I’m backing Lainy all the way on this!
You and I both know who this Dumb Looney, and I’d like to refer to him as that from now on. Ironically, he was called out by one of those aforementioned female bloggers yesterday, too.
When I was out of town to Atlanta for WrestleMania week, I got an email saying that my link was in an entry on his site. And this isn’t the only time in the last year he’s done that. Same old story, different chapter with this guy.
