Every once in a while, we have to suffer Blogoonies (read below for definition).
In Miltonian terms, these Blogoonies also serve who only stand and whine (with an alteration made to the last word).
Max Ehrmann too wrote about them with these lines in his famed Desiderata:
even to the dull and the ignorant,
they too have their story.
What a service and story indeed, I must say as I gather these from the ongoing episode with Dumb Looney.
I assure you this is in keeping and in accordance with Dumb Looney’s “democratic and social justice” hoopla, something again that I learned, in the words of Max Ehrmann, from the dull and the ignorant..
It is the likes of Bloggers such as Dave the Knave a.k.a Dumb Looney who has added new words to the Bloggers’ Lexicon. Here they are:
1. Bloguicide: A Blogger who attempts to commit blog-suicide by assuming that he has a god-given right to publish incarcerating articles about Bloggers and their Blogs and/or leave snide Commentaries.
root word: suicide
2. Blogbaldy: A Blogger who publishes pages and pages of the information that may be found elsewhere on the world wide web but provides no added value to it.
root word: bald
3. Blogoron: A Blogger who is unmistakably a moron
root word: moron
4. Blogitis: A Blogger who suffers from a perverse inflammation to malign female bloggers.
root word: biological suffix “itis” for inflammation
5. Bloggar: A Blogger who is a beggar; begs for donations by displaying a PayPal widget at his Blog.
root word: beggar
6. Blogeech: A Blogger who is a leech; displays a PayPal donation button but offers nothing in return for donations made. Not even a “Thank You” displayed; just the command, “DONATE”
root word: leech
7. Blogooney : A Blogger who is a Looney
root word: looney
8. Blogumb: A Dumb Blogger
root word: dumb
9. Blogumbooney: A Blogger who is both, Dumb and Looney
root words: dumb and looney
10. Bloglettante: A Blogger who is not what he claims to be.
root word: dilettante
11. Bloguibble: A Blogger spinning more wheels as damage control effort.
root word: quibble
12. Blogwinder: A Blogger who back pedals and claims the reader can’t read English
root word: sidewinder
13. Blogrouser: A Blogger who takes delight in drawing attention to his Blog by publishing articles that ferment discord.
root word: rabble-rouser
14: Blogprick: A Blogger whose vocabulary does not contain the word, Sorry.
root word: prick
I say man, what a contribution from Dumb Looney’s persona to the Bloggers’ Lexicon!

Iya Mariuca, sebenernya, dah lama saya dah dengar aduan pada binatang ni. Maunya bagi dia satu ajaran yg cukup memuaskan.
Sering MatSalleh seperti otak ni memikir orang luar negara dia orang cacat.
Skrng kita mencacatkan dia sepenuh penuh.
LOL!

@Mariuca,
Thanks to Windy’s writing prowess, Sweetie! No one does it better than him.
Dave the Knave definitely found a match in Windy. Being the co-author of this blog, anyone who will attempt to mess up with Lainy’s Musings is going to go through a hard time, LOL!

basicbloganomics.comHey Windy! LOL!
Funny you wrote this because I was just looking at an entry I wrote two years ago on my site that is very similar to this:
http://www.basicbloganomics.com/2009/04/new-blogging-laws-and-terms.html
I’ve never seen these, but they do aptly describe the Dumb Looney very well. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of 14 definitions that describe ONE blogger so well as these do. Haha.
As always, very well done and presented, sir!

@Bill,
Hi! Bill, every single definition accurately depicts Dave Lucas. I would not retract a word from any of those definitions.
Have a great weekend, my friend.
