Hello Dumb Looney,
What goes around, comes around. Without cause, you have been pointing your index finger at other Bloggers and there you are Dumb Looney, simultaneously you have three of your very own fingers pointing right back at you.
I take unprecedented pleasure in appraising your Blog and you as a Blogger.
Despite whatever you claim as a blogger, which honestly I find is a mouthful, it only shows what a pretender you are. You totally lack creative thought in just about every article that you publish. You are what we Bloggers term as a “cut and paste” Blogger.
Furthermore, what is pathetic is that instead of your lofty self description on political, religious, economic, democratic, scientific, social justice and sundry, you deplorably fail to come across as having any thought and belief of your own. I take that back, you do but only when your are maligning some female Bloggers – like all sick second heroes do.
Well, the question remains – do you have any thought and belief that you could claim as your own? Yes, forget about your copyright to your own crap you publish. You are mindlessly copying stale old news that can be found in zillion of other webpages; copying furiously as though you won’t see the next sunrise!
But what else can the rest of us Bloggers expect from a Blogger of such lowly distinction as you, a Brain in your Bum Blogger?
As is said that “a picture paints a thousand words”, I dare say the appearance of your Blog reflects your state of mind. There is no semblance of equilibrium and orderliness at your Blog’s template. It is cluttered and distracting with all kinds of disjointed widgets and of course self promotion. You don’t have a better way than to start with the PayPal button (right on the top of your sidebar pile of crap) in askance. Nice start!
Then again, if what you publish is your belief and that what is good for the dumb goose that you are, is also good for the gander, may I ask you to blog and assert that belief as contained at your Post titled, “THE BLOGGING CLASS ::: THE ULTIMATE LESSON”…
Gosh! a classless Blogger that you are, publishing an article about blogging class. How damning?
or forever take a lesson from the proverbial truth, “physician, heal thyself”.
There you go Dumb Looney, I hope you are reading my appraisal about you as a Blogger and about your Blog.

Hi Lainy and Windy. Phew! You got some nasty situation here. You see, I’m rather new here, so I didn’t know who this guy is or what he had written and I didn’t want to jump in blindly. But after I tracked down a bit via LJ’s site, I found a lead to his sites and then read what he did. And yes, he’s pretty out of the line in what he wrote.
All I can say is I (try to objectively) understand that he have his differences and his own views on blogging, but what I couldn’t understand is how can he put the links to others’ sites (and even names) in his articles where he set them as bad examples based on his own (personal) assessments? Yes, I have read other bloggers made posts about their personal opinions on things they like and dislike about a blog, but those bloggers don’t point their fingers at certain names or put the links in their posts the way he did. They don’t like a blog, they stop visiting that blog (and without dragging it down). As simple as that. (If you wanna see what I mean, check it HERE. I hope Steve don’t mind with this, but if you think he will then you can edit and delete what I write in these parentheses.)
What surprised me even more is I found at your and Mariuca’s sites that you guys used to be friends (even it’s only in the scope of blogosphere). And as far as I know, what he did through his writings is not an ethical or appropriate way to treat friends, which is rather ironic since he made articles about ethical blogging. In my opinion, if someone really wants to help his/her friends improve their blogs, he/she should send them personal emails or messages, say what he/she has in mind personally; don’t bring it up to public and expose it in such manner for his/her own benefits to sound like an expert or guru.
For readers of this comment, I’m writing this not only because Lainy is one among few blogging friends I’ve met during my short period of blogging (Err….Lainy. We’re friends, aren’t we?

) but because someone (some bloggers actually) who didn’t do anything wrong or harmful (unless you think making circle of friends and decorating their own blogs are crimes deserve hangings in blogosphere) is treated in such appropriate manner and being taken advantage of. I’m no expert blogger myself, heck I’m not even close to that, but I think I know enough about how to express an opinion and how to treat people, especially if they’re your friends.
That’s it. I think I have made myself perfectly clear about where I stand in this matter.
Gee…I don’t realize it becomes this long. Sorry if I get so gibberish. It’s just my nature maybe, to be gibberish. LOL!

Hi!
I see that you invested real time to get to the background of the issues with this Dumb Looney. And yes, your opinions are sound and very legit.
Regardless of whatever Dumb Looney tries to whittle it down to, the fact remains that he was clearly offensive and disregarded friendly norms that would have taken care of what he thinks is justified. Like you mentioned, he could have taken the matter off line with the Blogger concerned and that would not have caused a confrontation.
There is no necessity to rough shod blogpals in public unless the offender has ulterior motives. And he does that only to women; which opens up a host of questions about what he is made of as well as his intentions.
Thanks for having taken your personal time to understand the issues. I appreciate that in the end you see that this is not an overreaction from both, Lainy and me.

Very well said, CAT! Of course, I consider you a friend. You have been the friendliest blogger around and n the short span of time you’ve been in the blogosphere, you certainly made your presence felt and it is warmly welcomed by me.
I appreciate you for never fearing to speak your mind on the matter. I never want trouble with anyone. I never speak against a person not unless I feel I am violated or aggrieved. I am not the type who will just sit down in the corner and sulk when bullied. No other person has the right to trample my person or my blog for that matter. If he doesn’t like what I do at this blog, he can opt to never come back. I never force visitors to come by here. I never want to have enemies but Dave the Knave have different approach in making friends at the blog. That will never work for me.
