I almost die laughing after I finished reading the comments of a certain Janice Halim Negrosa, a.k.a. Zuveena, as a result of clicking the 3 above links. Her comments at Twerlyn’s blog are comical, whimsical and funny, written in atrocious English that has broken all the rules of good grammar and composition.
Can we consider the comments of Zuveena against Twerlyn, my dear Lainybelle, and the other bloggers libelous? Or is there a probable cause for libel against Zuveena?
Libel is a form of written defamation of character. A libelous comment is one that involves a false statement of fact about another person, that was conveyed to a third party or was published and damaged another person’s reputation, honor, profession or livelihood.
To prove the elements of a libel charge, it is important to show that Zuveena’s comments published in Twerlyn’s blog against Twerlyn, my dear Lainy and the others, are false and resulted in damaging their reputation or caused mental anguish, shame, sleepless nights or put them to public ridicule.
Here, it is necessary to show that there was in fact defamatory language that shows badly on Twerlyn’s or Lainy’s morality or integrity or questions their honor. If there is no loss of reputation, emotional distress or even money, or personal harm done, and instead the published comments just caused annoyance, for example, there is no libel suit.
The way I analyze her comments, Zuveena is just a person seeking instant attention. She is a poor girl looking for self-promotion. She has an illusion of grandeur, a hero to her ego, a legend in her own mind.
But Zuveena got it when other bloggers feasted on her. Now she has “fame”, though gained through her notorious comments.
Should we waste our valuable time on her? If you ask me, she does not deserve my little span of attention. Zuveena’s threatening to sue Twerlyn if the latter won’t delete all her posts about her and if Twerlyn won’t remove all info about her in Twerlyn’s blog?
Then, let Zuveena go ahead and make her day — but at her expense this time.

Hi Windy,
I’m certainly very far from being an expert on lawsuits, but it seems there is enough on the links to make a case for one. The fact that she has A LOT of comments on those posts you linked to with nothing but bashing does strengthen the case against her.

In my first sentence above, I stated thus: ” I almost die laughing. . .” when I should have stated “I almost died laughing.. .”
Pardon my wrong grammar, I was actually infected by the atrocious grammar of Zuveena after reading her ungrammatical comments at Twerlyn’s blog.

Hi Windy i am not very up on the laws either like David but i do agree that from the looks of things there should be enough here to make a case of some sort. There should be some organization that can do something about this. I totally support you guys here.
