For the unanswered part…
The widow and her three children live in my country, Malaysia.
The widow no longer has a house to live in since the demise of her husband.
She has three children (as the photo shows at the Post, “Out From The Mouths Of Babes”

Having seen her dire circumstances, I decided to build a small house that she and her children could call Home. Her children are aged 3, 5 and 9. She ekes a living doing menial jobs where ever she can find a day’s wage.

I have blogged for 18 months before but have stopped several months ago. I “met” Lainy through her Blogs and since then we have been close friends. It explains why Lainy is helping out with her donation drive for this cause. Lainy learned about this house as well that I could do with charitable assistance.

I started this using my own savings to buy the materials. Although it is insufficient to support all the purchases for he basic materials, I started building the house with faith in God, that somehow He will not let this widow and her three children live without a home.

Several Bloggers (17 Bloggers to date) have graciously responded to Lainy’s appeal for help. I am indebted to Lainy for what she has done in this regard. I am also humbled by the outpouring of these generous Bloggers and those who will help me help the widow and her three children.

I hope I have ably answered your questions.

“That will not happen. The what-ifs have been thoroughly thought out. One thing for sure, landlord and tenant issues do not have specific and elaborate laws in the Country. Fact is, whatever law exist in the Country, it is pro-tenant when arbitrated in Court.

Furthermore, prior to initiating the house, I considered the benevolence of the landlord to allow the widow and her three children to use the “nipa” hut unconditionally as their dwelling. That act by itself assures me about the character of the landlord.”

I suppose Windy’s meticulous mind should dispel any doubt.

I commend you for taking a part in Windy’s laudable and noble undertaking. But will you please tell him to ensure that once the house is completed, the landowner would let the widow and her three children live and stay peacefully, as in a usufruct, and not evict or eject them? I think they are just squatting from the land, so they are occupying the land by mere tolerance of the owner.

I’m raising this concern because I don’t want to see Windy’s legacy and hard work gone with the wind in the event the landowner ejects the widow and her 3 children.
