It seems like only yesterday when the brilliant 
Windy was banned from Lainy’s Musings on April 15,2010. Being one of the co-authors of this blog, Windy was served an only one day banishment sentence. And that was for a reason.
It was the same day last year when I did something shameful for his birthday. If not for that special occasion, I will NEVER get to do it.
This time, there’s nothing fancy I can offer the celebrant. Any form of tribute to honor the man himself wouldn’t requite for his kindness, generosity and so much more!
He is a man of integrity and the only blogger I know who speaks without fear or favor. He isn’t here to blog for money. He blogs because he wants to learn. You would wonder why he has discarded his blogs so many times. He felt there’s no more left for him to learn. I would often convince him to come back because I myself want to learn a LOT from him. But being stubborn like me, he can’t be told what to do, LOL!
Like they say: “Old is in the eye of the beholder“.
I have always wished Windy the best. He has always been the person who backs me up, online and offline, and I am grateful for having him. He ‘s no longer a stranger but family to me.
While reading through the archive of his blog that was deleted, I found one of his article still cached at Google. It is an article where you can see what kind of person Windy is, as a family man. It’s like a journal that gave glimpses into his life and family history. It was published on July 31, 2008 which I’d like to republish here.
Here it goes:

With Windy’s children during vacation
Life can be hard and harsh at times. Windy has seen it all. I so much admire his toughness and resilience.
For his birthday, I wish him more years of celebration. Like the birthday greetings I’ve sent him via SMS, God did not gave him one more day to live because he needs it but because a lot more people needs him.
