A call from Windy earlier had me so worried. He has been frequently suffering from serious bouts of gastritis of late. The recent terrible attack was last night which lasted for four (4) long hours. I can just imagine the pain he has to go through as I’ve suffered the same thing almost five (5) years ago. The pain is just something unbelievable.
It was in November last year when I previously blogged, 
OMG! Did Windy Suffer a Heart Attack? We were somehow appeased when the Doc diagnosed it to be peptic ulcer. He was then advised to quit smoking and to keep watch of his diet.
Knowing Windy, he’s a big health freak. So it really made me wonder what could have been wrong when it has been almost three (3) months and he still is getting the painful attacks, and mind you, it’s for longer period this time. I remember asking him more than once if he’s sure it’s not his heart that’s giving him the problem and he would assure me it’s not until the call he made earlier tonight.
He was on the phone to inform me very quickly that the Doc suspects it could be an infraction of the heart. OMG! So my apprehensions were all founded all these time! But he told me it’s not sure until he sees a heart specialist which he is going to do without delay right after making the call to me.
As of this writing, Windy just sent me SMS that more tests are being done in the hospital. I am still awaiting for some more updates from him. I do pray it’s not something serious.
UPDATE:
As per Windy’s SMS as of 9:45 PM, ECG lists him as critical in hospital. The heart specialists were called in immediately to dilute his blood and unblock the vessels as there was blockage in his heart. He further informed me via SMS that the Doctor told him it’s a miracle he is still alive after so many attacks. Oh gracious goodness! The Doc now orders hospital confinement for five (5) days observation.

Thank you, David. This is a very sad news though. Windy certainly needs all the prayers. Thanks as well for never failing to come by. I have a lot of catching up to do. I hope to keep up in the coming days.

Hmmm, he was confined in ICU for 24 hours, Anne. Electrowires were all over his chest to monitor his heart.The good news is that his heart specialist informed him that corrective surgery is not necessary. Medicines will do for him.
Today, he was out of ICU and was declared stable. Electrodes were removed and he was transferred to a different bed without machines. He will be home in three days or so.

Hi Lainy, I know the feeling as my husband suffered the same when we were still in Korea two years ago. We thought at first that it was a heart attack because he found it so difficult to breath. His heart has abnormalities too but thanks God, he is okay now.

Anyways, I am sorry to hear your husband went through the same thing. My father died from cardiac arrest so I know how dreadful a disease it is.
I am glad to know your husband has survived the attack. Thanks for sharing and for the prayers.
