Exposing oneself to asbestos is the main cause of being inflicted with the dreaded disease mesothelioma. I saw in one of the telenovelas over prime time television that one case was brought to the court by a mesothelioma lawyer because one child in the hospital is inflicted with cancer and is dying for having been exposed to asbestos caused by a big mining corporation. Many others already died because of cancer.
Though fictional, I noticed that the story was throughly researched and seemed factual on screen. The show is about to end on the second week of January 2010. Three of the major characters in the show are lawyers.
I truly enjoyed watching it every night and I haven’t missed seeing any of the episodes. I go for lady lawyers as the protagonists and the show is only a few who showed that women aren’t of weak character. It’s stance on women have showed respect, equality and have placed lawyering as one of the dignified professions there could ever be.
