The May 10, 2010 Local and National Elections is fast approaching. That is the reason why I always feel exhausted and more frequently feels lethargic. Work has been hectic of late. We do report for work on Saturdays and even on regular non-working holidays.

The complete automation of the upcoming elections is bound to happen. There is no turning back. Even if some problems may crop up, for instance the recent suspension of the Aboitiz Group of Companies from operating their business, has been the reason of concern for some. As the official cargo liner of the COMELEC, some have expressed their apprehensions that the election paraphernalias might not be delivered on time for the purposes of the elections. The Comission , however, assured everyone that the contract shall be awarded to another bidder lest the suspension won’t be lifted against Aboitiz in time for the elections come May 10, 2010.

Well, everything still remains to be seen. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all will work in our favor- in the interest of public service.
