As my siblings and I were seated in front of our television set, awaiting for the start of the Basketball Game in which our local Team was playing for a live telecast, our conversation wandered off into what was needed to brighten up our hall interior.
Definitely the sofa set has to be changed as it is well worn and in some places tattered. That was one item that we all agreed to change.
Then my youngest brother looked up at the ceiling fan and said that it needed to be replaced. “Why?”, I retorted. “It’s still in good working condition. Perhaps a new paint spray would make the blades edge look good”, I added, since there were signs of metal rust at the edges.
He insisted that the existing ceiling fan be changed to Casablanca fans adding that that would add a better ambience to our Hall.
We conversed so much about the Hall’s interior decor that we almost forgot about our Basketball game.
