do you have a post on how to manipulate the settings on Firefoox to allow entrecard widget alone?

Perhaps, Lainy has done one many moons ago and it is somewhere in the Post Archives. I am not too sure but here it is anyways, for you because you asked for it.

Purpose: How to install Noscript at your Firefox Browser.

Definition: To enable the user to forgo enabling all Javascript at visited websites thereby making it faster to load visited Blogs and to conduct Entrecard drops.

Procedure:

1. First, download the Noscript plugin [ HERE ]

2. Having completed the download, proceed to INSTALL the plugin.

3. On completing the Installation, RESTART Firefox.

4. Next, you must ENABLE the Noscript plugin.

5. Look at the Firefox toolbar above. You see TOOLS. click on it. Then you see ADD-ONS, click on it and then click on OPTIONS for Noscript.

6. You will see a tab named “GENERAL”, check “temporarily allow top level sites by default”. At the bottom, be sure to enable, “automatically reload affected pages when permissions change”.

7. Next go to the tab named “PLUGINS” “ADD-ONS”. Do not enable “Apply these restrictions to trusted sites too”.

8. RESTART Firefox once again.

9. Then go your own homepage. You will notice a yellow bar at the bottom of your Firefox browser that pops up after the page loads. Please click on the “OPTIONS” button.

1O. At this stage you will give permission for scripts to run. Click to “allow entrecard dot com”.
(If you wish to add more than Entrecard.com, you would click on the others you wish to enable)

11. RESTART Firefox again and this time load your bookmarked Blogs that you wish to perform your routine EC drops. From now on, you should find the Entrecard widget displayed for every Entrecard member’s site you visit (minus of course having to load the other Javascripts that’s at the visited Blogs).
