“The Spirit is Willing but the Flesh is Weak…”

… is an idiomatioc expression that implores not only a person who succumbs to earthly temptations but also for an individual who wishes to do more yet can not anymore find the strength to do so.

Yours truly is in that tread. To say that I am exhausted is an understatement. I have never been this tired in ages. I haven’t had a decent sleep in forty eight (48) hours. I have been working my ass off with the onset of the October 25, 2010 Synchronized Barangay and SK Elections. The tedious preparation included the reception of the filing of the Certificates of Candidacy, to which yesterday was the last day, until 12mn.

I find it a little difficult to get myself back to blogging in full swing after a month of hiatus because of the demands at work. Certainly, blogging took a backseat for a while and when I decided to come back, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I once more felt I am a neophyte who is groping my way around here and is still in the process of learning the basics. Even this blog’s traffic went down from 40K+ to 80K+. Though the stats would speak for itself how inactive this blog was, it’s not my primary concern for the moment.

One of the things I missed most was the interaction with my regular blogpals . I beg your pardon for not coming up with something worth your while. I admit I have a lot of catching up to do yet I feel this is still not the right time. I still can’t find the time to read and comment at my favorite blogs.

Looking back, I have never failed to do my daily blogging chores which included reading, commenting, and yeah, dropping EC’s among others yet offline commitments were more pressing in the last couple of days .

As much as I wanted to accomplish more and more things both online and offline, the cliche “We can not serve two masters at the same time” holds true. Indeed, the spirit is willing yet the flesh is too weak.
