When I went to Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Bohol some years ago for exposure trips, I had a little problem preparing my things because I do not own my own luggage. I had to ask my friends to lend me theirs because mine was not that presentable and decent. That’s when I saw the real importance of purchasing my own. Now I can see lots of luggages put on sale in the malls. I am very tempted to purchase everytime I get to see them but always tell myself: “Do not buy on impulse… Holt it! Hold it! .” I need to think twice because there is no need for me to buy as of yet. But I really need to purchase one sometime soon because prices are skyrocketing and luggages put on sale might not be that cheap anymore in the coming days.

Lainy, this is a very sensitive issue.
You know we can’t (due to financial constraints) buy anything we need when we need it. We always draw up a list bringing out the opportunity costs and the forgone alternatives. We always want to use our limited resources wisely so that we get what is very important for the moment. But Hold on! There are certain long-term needs that don’t “ring a bell”. You just get up one day and realize you need it instantly.
If the next trip will ring a bell (let you know well enough in advance), then you can save your money (don’t buy it) for the moment on more pressing issues.
However, one thing still needs to be dealt with…the skyrocketing prices. You can forgo some other things and buy it now that is still “cheap”, stand the risk of buying it more expensive in the future.
No one conveniently goes for everything important, not eve the rich. But i guess every good friend of yours will like to see you have it.
Many, including Uncle Che will say “PURCHASE”.
