I have came up with my own list of blogs which I will be rooting as the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2008. The contest has long been running for months until July 26, 2008. You can win as much as $ 100 if you get lucky in winning the contest or just merely get links of love from your fellow bloggers. I have a number of great blogs in mind but I need to only choose ten from among them. I had a hard time in the selection process but through the help of some bloggers, I was able to come up with my final list. The blogs which are inluded in my Top 10 list have met the following criteria, to wit:
- Blogs that are in existence anytime from July 1, 2007 up to the present;
- Blogs that stirred interest and significant impact among its readers in 2008;
- Blogs that generated considerable number of regular readers. Meaning, the blog has wide readership and influence over the blogosphere; and,
- The owner of the blog must not be a ghost or anonymous.
Any blog in the world could be picked so long as they meet the above-mentioned criteria. The 10 blogs I picked have, in one way or another, influenced and motivated me to blog for quality and not for traffics, ranks and other stats relative to the same. These are the following:
- Mapiles.Com/ Your Partner Online- Blogging, SEO, Programming, Troubleshooting, Making Money Online by a 23-year old geek, Joliber Mapiles.
- What Have You- Researches in Nursing and other fields by Jessie Simbulan
- Juliana’ s Lair- Married Life in the city that never sleeps.
- Bloggista.Com- Resources for making money online and offline.
- JoanJoyce- A child, a wife, a Mom and a blogger An idiot’s guide to General Santos City- Tuna Capital of the Philippines
- Bariles Republic- An idiot’s guide to General Santos City- Tuna Capital of the Philippines
- Mar Roxas for President in 2010- The site is dedicated to the people who want to encourage & support Mar Roxas as the next President of the Philippines.
- Manila Foodistas- A food blog by UP students sharing their food selection to anything and everything edible.
- MamaFlo’s Place- The changes in my life are more significant now than ever before.
- The Not So Talented DJ Montano- Aussie Brian Gorrel’s attempt in recovering his STOLEN 70,000 dollars from Delfin Justiniano Ocampo Montano II, Philippines News, Manila’s ‘HIGH’ High Society, World Politics, HIV/AIDS Awarness, Child Advocacy, Homophobia, Animal Protection, Gucci Gang(CL) and the rest.
Now it’s your turn to nominate any blog of your choice. It could be your own or other blog you know as long as it fits the criteria mentioned above. This is one way of making new friends, gaining ample amount of traffic, be linked up, and become $100 richer by just making an entry like this one.
HOW TO JOIN & WIN $100
- It is as simple as creating a paid review worth 10 bucks.
- Create your own list of bloggers whom you believe are influential in the blogosphere and post them in your own site.
- Link to Influential Blogger and let Ms. Janette Toral know of the post you just made.
Be warned though that cheating is a big NO! NO! Changing the dates in your archives is strictly prohibited, no new blogs moving to a different domain name is allowed, and one must have a Paypal account to avail of the prizes.
