What Makes It Hard?
By * 10 views

Why is it so hard to make decisions? Why is it so hard to choose happiness?
Is it because we are afraid that if we do, we will be hurting a lot of people?
Is it because we’d rather be unhappy and miserable for the rest of our lives just to keep everything as they are? Or is it because we’re afraid to lose what we already have?
What is there to lose anyway? Isn’t it that if we truly love, everything makes sense and we’ll be able to conquer everything?
Have you even been in a situation where you have to choose between two people? Is it really possible to love two people at the same time? Is loving only one person so hard to make? Is loving two people at the same time a thing to be proud of?
Deciding to do something is just the beginning of more things to come. It doesn’t end there. We can decide to be happy or be unhappy.
The question is, are we willing to find our own happiness, even if it means hurting a lot of people? Are we willing to risk everything that we already have just for that one goal? Or do we just keep everything as they are —in secret, complicated, but at least nobody gets hurt because nobody knows.
Sooner or later, we will have to decide. And only we can decide for ourselves, that’s the hardest part, I guess.
Are we willing to get what we truly want, because deep down in our hearts, in our bones, in our entire being, it feels so right?
I strongly believe that if we follow our hearts, everything will fall right into place. That is the only time when we can have peace of mind and a taste of real happiness.
I wish you blue skies and all things nice,

I was also in the same shoe before but I asked GOD to guide me in the decisions I have to make, I had simply followed my heart then everything just turn into the right place.

Hmmm, I am no relationship expert but yes, sometimes they do. But generally, they say that happiness should emanate from within us. It shouldn’t come from another person.
There’s always a risk in loving someone. The risks of being hurt- being dumped, jilted, two-timed, etc. You have to be ready to face all that.
If he let you fall; didn’t catch you and he eventually hurt you, then he’s not meant for you. Someone better shall come your way. Someone who’s more deserving of your love. And it comes in God’s own perfect time
Don’t try to find love, Bang. It will just come even if you don’t go looking for it.

Lainy, I was wondering if this was going to turn into a Radio Shack entry. “You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers”. LOL!
Seriously, the decisions we make dictate the life we lead. I certainly haven’t made the best of decisions myself, but not everyone does all the time. It shouldn’t consume us to think about tough decisions all the time though.
Have a great weekend, LAINY!

Hahahaha! You just made me laugh out here, David!
How I wish we have all the answers to all questions. But unfortunately, when things become too complicated to resolve, the right answers elude us.
Sigh!
But you are right. We make our own destiny and it is based on how we make decisions.
See yah!

Finding your own happiness could make other feel sad or could have hurt other people in the process. But at the end of the day, it is how you feel that truly matters. I have been in the same predicament. But it is about time that we do what matters most to us.

@ JULES:
Yeah, sometimes we have to pay a prize to be happy- happiness at the expense of other people.
But at the end of the day, what truly matters is what we feel deep within us. Regardless how wrong or right it is, we still try to reach for that one goal…
Thanks for swinging by and sharing your thoughts.
See you around!
