When I attended the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit in 2008 here in General Santos, I was able to get acquainted with a number of Blogosphere personalities. It enabled me to see in person the people behind the Blogs I frequent during my daily blog visits.
To begin with, I was able to meet the Bariles man himself. He’s the man behind the successful Blog – Gensantos.com. He is doing such a tremendous effort and a successful job promoting General Santos and the Generals themselves to the rest of the world. One of the things he works very hard on is spreading the good information about Yaman Gensan 2009.

Bregie of Briggs Time for Escapades, Rosilie of Rosilie: My Blog, DJ Tammy of Anything Under the Sun, Miah Laborte of Random Thoughts of an InsoMIAH, Arlene of Joys in Life and Twinks of Twinkletoe Writing Space.
I just found out recently that the latter is my neighbor who lives a few blocks away from our own house! What a small world indeed!

The longest running blogpal of them all is Twerlyn of Twerlermz Blog! She has been a friend way back in high school and ever since before I knew blogs’ existence. She’s one of the many great friends who motivated me to blog.

There’s a vast difference when I get to read the mind of the person behind their blogs.
Yes Siree!
It’s kind of surreal. It’s as though I could get to hear their voices, see their facial expressions, notice their gestures and body language. What is conjured up in my head about the person behind the blogs often remains indelible.
Apart from that camaradarie blogger’s event, we also got the chance of hanging out together another time. That was in May this year. We spent some time together while we watched the Search for the SMB Swimwear Model 2009.

There are still lots of bloggers I would want to personally meet such as Kuya Jessie of What Have You and my little Brother-in-Christ, the SEO geek, Joliber of Mapiles.com.
And how could I ever forget great friends like Uncle Che of AZ Blogging and Noela of My Blog Says? I hope they could spend their honeymoon in the Philippines after taking their vows as husband and wife very soon. And perhaps their first born would be Made in The Philippines, hehehe! 
Also, I have such big hopes that in a year or so, I could get to meet more Asian bloggers when the Siren of SEA shall officially kick off (You better watch out for this one!). This idea was recently brain-stormed by Windmill and I.
