This is my first official post for the meme Wednesday What It’s All About- (You Gotta Know).
My deteriorating health condition of late led me to decide to quit blogging. Hence, I wrote my Adios post 
HERE. For a while then, the thought of stopping what I love doing the most was such a heartbreaker! Being so accustomed to sitting in front of my PC, doing my thing and then not being able to follow that routine created a vacuum. Behavioural change is not an easy task.
What triggered my decision to quit blogging? After being hospitalized twice in a span of one week, I did whatever was needed to improve my state of health. I was on the mend when my right hand started to feel sore. The soreness continued for two weeks. I became alarmed when I could hardly move it. Everyday the numbness was intense particularly when I did my 600 EC drop chore for two blogs. It was such an ordeal. It finally came to a head and I had to make a decision to stop blogging.
What reversed that decision to quit?
An unexpected Blog issue happened soon after I stopped blogging. It came soon after I had joined the Yaman Gensan 2009 contest. I had to write about the Yaman Gensan 2009 Contest results to express my opinion about that Event. One thing led to another and it caused me to continue with blogging. I still have to be cautious and take my blogging in stride. Health is unquestionably my top priority.
On rejoining, I did contemplate to leave EntreCard for good. As you now know what 600 mouse clicks a day did to my right hand. It was not any easy consideration. I must admit that had it not been for EntreCard, I’d probably not have visited so many wonderful blogs and not have had the opportunity to establish beautiful friendships. Not only that, it also sustained my Blog with the traffic that it needs.
I noticed that my blog’s EntreCard popularity took a dive after I temporarily stopped blogging. This supports my belief that the majority of EntreCarders drop their cards ONLY to harvest EC credits. Take for example, if you stop dropping your cards, you won’t be displayed at their EC Dashbord’s Inbox. Eventually, they will stop visiting your Blog and your Blog’s popularity too becomes adversely affected.
My health condition has gained slowly but surely. I am still trying to pick up the pieces from where I left off. It is still somewhat difficult since I feel lethargic most of the time and the need for my physical rest takes precedence.
Fortunately in the meantime, I have found a solution for the soreness in my hand. It is customary for me to wash my hands before I remove my contact lenses. Ever since I refrained from washing my right hand, my right hand has suffered less. In addition, I remove my Contacts before I start work on my PC. I remove it with the use of my left hand instead. That’s clever, Lainy! Why haven’t you thought of that before? 
When Graham Langdon left the reins of EntreCard (or is he really?), I decided not to leave EntreCard. It won’t hurt to expect greater things from the new administration. I am putting my stakes high on them and I am hopeful that those great blogs who left will somehow see some major improvements and decide to return. Well, the paid ads which I really, really loathe and hate is now gone forever. That is one important move. So for now, it is not YET goodbye for EntreCard. 
There is an obvious reason for my lack of postings, something that is not descriptive of my blogging style, I am biding my time. As I’ve frequently said in the past, I don’t write for an audience and I am not here to impress. I am here to express.
I have to commend friends who remained loyal and kept following this blog despite my absence. I don’t need to name all of you here. You know who you are.

Health is always a good reason to lie low from blogging. Ako pud sis, aside sa ka-busy, I always got an order from hubby and from my eye doctor to refrain from staring at the computer kay walay ka-ayuhan akong worsening eye condition. Thus, I’ve got less updates, too. Daghan paid tasks nga nangahanaw pero sige lang.
Grabe pud ka modala ug magic oi! To complete a 300 drops for a single blog is really a magic for me! lol Di man jud naku mabuhat na oi. Hahaha. Ug wa jud siguro chance nga mabuhat pa naku na! LOL

Hi Lainy,
I can relate to what you suffered with your right hand. I too had the same problem. It was caused by this idiotic repetitive mouse clicking for the sake of EntreCard drops.
My arms ached till it affected the nerves along my shoulders and the back of my neck. There were times when my fingers went numb.
Let’s sue EntreCard and make a pile for being the cause of Blogging hazard. We hire Patrick from Bottom Lines to represent our lawsuit against EntreCard. What amount should we sue them for? Enough to buy your family a brand new car. How about that?

I feel so bad now because i really have not been blog hoping on my friends site like i should. So i did not even know that you had quick for a while. For this i am deeply sorry my friend. I consider you as one of my dear friends here and need to take more time and visit to see how you are doing. I am glad they stopped doing paid EC that is one of the reasons i stopped dropping cards. I am going to make it a daily task to check by here now Lainy because i want to make sure your always doing great/ God bless my friend. see you around.

Sis, I’m so sorry about what happened to you, I was super busy din kaya di naman ako nakapag-comment here, the only thing that I did was to continue dropping and visiting your blogs, kailangan kase tulungan din kahit di maka-drop back especially between friends. Upon reading your post na-realize ko that bloggers really have the same dilemma about the hardship of maintaining our traffic and grabe sis talagang you’re really doing that 300 drops per blog mo, you really have the energy girl but we must not oversee our limits. Take your time sis because you’ll never make it to quit blogging hehehe! It’s part of your system na and it will pain you to do so.
I’ve resigned na from my job because my health is showing signs na rin of stress and over fatigue. I have to choose between my job and my family and I’ve decided to prioritize my family and just work at home na lang. After one month of being a WAHM God has given enough blessing of giving me an income equivalent or greater than what I’m earning as full time employee and part-time blogger. God is so good that He confirmed that my decision is right! so for you sister don’t leave us here, we’ll definitely miss you!
I’ll still drop you my EC kahit di ka mag-drops kase I’ll be thinking that your hand is sore hahaha! So take care always ha, God Bless!

Lainy I think you know how very very special and dear you are to me. you must take care of yourself. I know about some of your health issues and you really need to take care of yourself.
Those of us who love you will always be here. No matter how long you have to be away.
As for EC I nearly killed myself too trying to drop 300 cards a day because of my slow connection on satellite it would take me 10 to 12 hours a day. Now I am only doing around 150 to 200 a day and somehow I am ranked just as high. So I do think something has changed.
Please,please just take care of your health. We would all miss you terribly if you quit completely but your health is the most important thing above anything.

I couldn’t agree with you more, Sis! Health must be our top priority. Akong eye condition wala na jud ni paadtuan. ambot pila na pud grado ani, 1000 man ni karon,
Hahaha! Wala’y magic ni, Sis! sa una jud Ido 900 drops, when Kuerdas was still with EC, that’s without fail everyday. Murag simple raman kaau to sa una, karon murag lisod na kaayo. Sa katiguwangon man tingali ni, hahahaha!

Hala! Alarming ang grade sa iyang one eye, Lermz. Ang isa walay diperensya. 20/20 man ang perfect vision. Kalit lang lagi na iya? I started out with 225 on both eyes pero 4th year high school nako ato. Now it’s 1K on both eyes. Ana na sya ka worst. Alagaan jud niya maayo iyang vision kay nah! Lisod kaayo! 225 is high. Dili na sya correctional.
