Let the Poll Begin!

I am pleased to announce that the Lainy’s Hottest Blogoversary Writing Competition: A Bloggers Celebration! got twenty five (25) official valid entries. The competition has found a new group of writers who were able to stylistically and creatively expressed themselves via the theme: Blog to the World; Blog for You and Me . They all have labored on the tedious tasks of following the contest rules and came up with such beautiful and interesting contest pieces. I commend the high level of quality work that each and every contestant has put in to this competition and I thank you for choosing to join. What contestants should take to heart is that we, the credible judges and the readers, altogether aim at recognizing and rewarding literary merit.
Today the poll for the Readers Choice shall commence. Prior to the poll’s kick off, the contestants were encouraged to submit their Acceptance Statements to abide by and comply with the contest rules. The poll is a very legitimate one where all votes cast for the contestants shall be counted in their names; presenting an across the board appreciation of each contestant’s entry for the Readers Poll.
I am urging you to go and support your favorite storyteller. Let your votes be counted! To cast your vote, just click the banner and you are good to go!

This is an exciting contest-very successful too. You’ve organized it well.
We are all agog about the daily results. May I request that you update your readers with the results of the polls? So those who voted, won’t have to go to the poll center every now and then to check.
Can we also read the comments? or are they confidential? It would make the contest more interactive.

Thanks Ma’am! Coming from you, I am taking that as a compliment. However, I regret to tell you that I can not provide you the results here in my blog not unless you go and subscribe to the Poll Blog. We already have provided almost everything in the Poll Blog and if I post it here, that would mean duplication and I don’t wanna confuse the readers. I am not online 24/7 so it’s impossible for me to update the scores every now and then. The Poll Report is very much updated.
I conferred with the Panel of Judges for your suggestions and Simon Cowell from the Panel of Judges disagress that comments are made public.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I did sign up for the poll, but I don’t seem to have the stats.
Would the judges then, at least, publish the comments of the winning blogs at the end of the contest? That would also be good exposure/publicity for you and for those who participated.

te ellaine..5 friends of mine told me that they can’t open see any forms to fill up..after they clicked the banner, then the word “poll”, what they got were “thank you…something for voting”..i still have the emails from them now..what should i do!?!? RSS feeds not working also!?!?
isn’t it the script of the site has something wrong!?! =-O

Signing up for the Poll Report via RSS subscribe will give you the stats of one’s Contest Entry. I have no control over the Judges as to how they take it from the close of the Contest till the Results are published.
Comments per se would have been also submitted at one’s own Blog’s display of one’s Contest Entry I would have to presume. From my understanding from the Panel of Judges, the Comments that Pollsters submit does NOT add value to the assessment of the Entry although it is needed for the Judges overview.
