It’s not everyday that we get to meet a blogger face to face, let alone the added pleasure of doing so over a few hours with them in bed. Ooops! Please don’t get me wrong, LOL!
After the tiring trip from my hometown to Manila and en route to Kuala Lumpur and then onward from Kuala Lumpur to the famous Genting Highlands Resort, we finally hit the sack at 5 in the morning after unpacking our luggage at our room in the humongous First World Hotel. As previously published 
HERE, Windy had to share a room with me and Star’s daughter, Lollii. The group agreed to meet up for breakfast between 8-9 am. We hardly got enough sleep. Blame it on Windy’s antics and humor. He practically kept me and Lollii awake and laughing the entire time! I remembered we agreed we will have him in our rooms provided we tie up his hands and feet. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a tie box or something that could prevent him from misbehaving, haha! We should have instead thought of looking up for a tape or something that would keep his mouth shut, hahahaha!

Windy was very punctual. I was surprised because I knew he hadn’t enough sleep. When I half-opened my still drooping eyes at 8am, he was already dressed up and all set for breakfast. I asked for one more hour and his eyes rolled and exclaimed: Filipinos! LOL!
The cool breeze at Genting Highlands Resort will make you want to just roll in bed the entire day. However, thinking of the short stint that we’ll have at the place, we had no choice but to get ourselves ready for breakfast.

After breakfast, Star’s boyfriend Jimmy had to go back to Kuala Lumpur to attend a very important meeting. Windy was left with little choice but to accompany us at Genting 
The feet-cramping stroll at the various theme parks then began.
Genting teems with tourists, 24 hours non-stop but we did not see any Filipinos during the time there. It looked as though we were the only Filipino tourists around as we could only see Chinese, Indians, Austrians, Americans, etc. We later found out that there are Filipinos who work at the Casinos. We never had the chance to meet them though.

We often requested Windy to take photographs of us but he was just too lazy, haha! One thing noticeable and admirable about Windy though was that his probing eyes can’t escape minute details. He knew even before you open your mouth what was needed. He sped off to Watsons, with us tailing at him wondering what he would do there; only to find him at the Cashier paying for sanitary pads for Star and camera batteries for me and Lollii.
Isn’t he so sweet? When one of our companions was trembling a little from the cold breeze. Windy immediately donned her with his jacket. He was so spontaneous.

He immediately told the group that we need to find a hot drink. He ended up giving us a nice lunch treat. He introduced to us some Malaysian cuisines. He talked more about his country, culture, politics and so much more. And you bet I was right all along! Windy is a brilliant man!
We thought Windy was going to stay with us in the entire duration of the trip but we all felt sad when he broke the news that he needed to get back home that same day. He purchased a bus ticket before he could even hear more protests from me and the group. We felt sad he had to leave and won’t travel back with us to Kuala Lumpur. The mood wasn’t as happy as it was when Windy was around. We’ve missed his company when he finally took the bus at 3:30 P.M 
The little time I have spent with Windy made me sincerely appreciate his sensitivity, kindness, hospitality, generosity and so much more. I used to speak all good things about him at the blogs but meeting him in the flesh ratified all that I wrote about him and justly confirmed my words.
He will always have my respect and admiration.
P.S. I failed to see Heavenly Home as it would take the entire day to travel to where it was located. I hope to travel and see it one day though.

Yes, Windy is definitely one of a kind which is magnified more by you meeting him and what all you and the others did there.
And wow, between you and Windy posting those pics, I may have to go there one day, too. That is one impressive resort in the pics, and it must be so much better in person!

It would have been a lot more wonderful if you were able to come along with us to KL.
Your wife will get to kill 5 pretty Filipinas, haha! It’s all our fault with you travelling at the stroke of midnight and hurdling the 5-hour trip just to be able to meet us. I wasn’t actually banking on it but since you’ve made it, you just made this trip triple extra special

Hi Sweetie! I knew you would say that, LOL! I wonder where you are located in Malaysia?
KL had the same temperature with that of the Philippines. No difference in time zones too so there’s no need for a major adjustment on our part. Besides, we only had a very short stint in your country. We wished it was longer though. Another time maybe.
Indeed we had a blast! Oh Yeah! Star’s daughter was very ecstatic. She was overjoyed to have met both her two Uncles- Jimmy and Windy
