Cheribye EntreCard: Kuerdas Blog Deleted from EC

I began my dropping tasks early this morning for my Kuerdas blog before going to work. The “supposed-to-be” first recipient of my drop is Windmill. Upon clicking the drop button, I couldn’t see any drop messages being reflected. So I thought it was one of those glitches and unannounced downtimes/ outages. I’ve even left a shout at Windy’s chatbox that EC got a problem. I haven’t realized that the problem could be my blog not until I’ve read the messages in my own shoutbox from Poray, Recel, Tyson, Pastilan, and a message from my friend Polly of Random Ramblings in my EC inbox telling me that something is wrong with my EC widget. I then concluded that something’s amiss and the first thing that came to mind was my blog might have been deleted from EntreCard. Since Uncle Che & I had our first voice chat for 2009, (he keeps me company very early in the morning aside from Ivy), I requested him to open my EntreCard account because I couldn’t access anymore my Kuerdas blog. And true enough, Kuerdas was erased from the realms of the EC community without issuing me any warnings. How’s that for the New Year, huh?

Sites where more than 50% of the content consists of paid posts, posts with links to online stores, or affiliate links. This quota is a total, so if you write less than 50% of each type of paid content but the overall paid content quota exceeds 50%, that is not permitted. Reviews are OK, but not if every post contains an affiliate link.

Oh Lainy – I thought it was just a glitch, I really did. Are you going to amend the blog and then appeal to have it reinstated? I know that there are a few blogs which disappeared over recent months only to re-appear shortly afterwards. Perhaps you could ask for your blog also to be re-instated when you have made a few adjustments. It is surely worth a try for it would be a shame to lose it all.
Perhaps you could include the world top ten downloads each week (I think that would be very interesting). Groups that have split up. New groups. News items on various groups. General chit chat – like who is vegetarian, who has their own plane, who appears to spend more time on the beach than on the stage, those who appear to work the hardest, (if course you do have to be careful that you don’t put anything that could be misinterpreted as liable), those who seem to be in the headlines week after week – could it be a ploy (going with the old addage that there is no such thing as bad publicity …), there are so many little bits and bobs that you could perhaps think about adding in – if you were allowed another chance at this lovely blog.

I thought so too, Polly. I have no plans for now of trying to ask the EC admin to have the decision reversed and reinstate my blog. I want to do my part first and make some adjustments.
Thanks for the lovely suggestions, my friend. You have always been very helpful. I have actually bookmarked all the things that I wanted posted @ KUERDAS but I haven’t done it all yet. It’s really hard to keep up with blogging tasks when you have multiple blogs and you do blogging only at limited hours and do the dropping chores for all the blogs at the same time. But anyway, I still would want my blog reinstated in the future after all the changes for Kuerdas blog and if EC would still want to have that blog back.
Oh BTW, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to reply to your message at the EC inbox yet. I was able to read it while writing this post. I will take time to reply tomorrow

aha.. kaya pala. i first thought it was just some glitch, too. i’ve encountered such problem for three days jud. i even tried dropping through MF, GC, and IE. pero tingala jud o ba ngano. mao ni-leave na ko a imo message finally.
oh well, that’s sad sis because i understand how consistent u are as a dropper. ako ani makurat jud ko kung mawala lang kalit akong blogs pud sa EC kay wa ra ba jud ko nakabasa sa rules. hehe… saon! well, as u’v said, with or without entrecard, blogging must continue. the show must go on, eh? hehe…

Sorry about your EC dilema… I’m thinking about leaving them on my own accord… too many viruses. Crashed my computer the other day. Lucky I haven’t lost everything. I don’t think I want to risk it again… anyway… head over to my blog… You’ve been tagged baby!

If EC isn’t going to warn users or give them fair enough chance to correct whatever violations there may be, what does that say about the EC staff itself?!?!?
Seems quite rude to me, and I’m really starting to question if I made a mistake by giving them the benefit of the doubt.
They really wouldn’t like it if I started a blog that just trashes them and drags ‘em into the dirt.

Good to see that I can drop again. I got deleted too few months back – the reason was not through those paid posts.
Most paid posts sites don’t want pure paid posts on their blogs – because readers tend to skip reading them.
