Not Too Happy

On Monday, right after Mother’s Day, I received a bad news from my Prince. Mummy Carol (his Mum), is not feeling too well for days now. When they had a physician’s consultation on that day, they knew that Mummy has a gore bladder disease. It needs to be removed for her to be in excellent health again. I don’t know what’s the difference with gore bladder and gall bladder. But just the same, I felt very sad when my boyfriend told me. I am very transparent and he could immediately see how affected I was by the sad news. From the first day I knew my boyfriend, I am already aware how much he loves his Mum. That’s what endeared me to him all the more because I’ve always believed that you will know what treatment you will get from guys just by the way they treat their mothers. For a number of times that I was able to talk with Mummy Carol, I feel so at ease. She’s a second mother to me. I am always looking forward to meeting her one of these days. I want to see her big smile again and hear her very cheerful voice. She loves to watch sports especially when her and my bf’s team plays. And just like me, she’s yelling, jumping and even swearing while she’s cheering for her favorite team, hehe!
If there’s one thing that I kept asking the Lord for since Monday before going to bed, that is for Mummy Carol’s health and speedy recovery. This is the best gift she will ever receive on her birthday next week.
I wish you blue skies and all things nice,

I hope your bf’s mom get better soon, i understand how you feel, just recently my mom-na-law had a tonsil operation, they had to removed it cos it’s cancerous and now she’s undergoing chemo, so scary and i keep praying she will be ok too. My hubby is very close with her mom too and you are right, it says a lot about a man how he treats his mom and you got a good one there, take care!
